Appearance: Ivan has light blonde coloured hair with purple eyes and pale skin, along with rosy cheeks. His tall figure tends to hide his more...'embarrassing' features such as his large nose and ears.


Weight and Height: Ivan weighs 189 pounds and is 182cm tall- He's a rather large man, to put it short...or should I say tall /snrk

Likes and Dislikes: Ivan likes the snow, Being in large communities and Spending time with friends- Though he detests anything to do with being left alone and/or ignored- And believe it or not Ivan is scared of the dark, in fact, It's one of his few weaknesses.

The Past and the Present:

As a young nation Ivan was forced to take care of himself, thus resulting in poor health and a lot of loneliness and despair- However after awhile he was taken into the care of 'General Winter' and was taught how to fight and defend himself, And within no time he was regaining health- and power in the process. General Winter was and still is Russia's most powerful ally and will often resort to him in desperate times. General Winter is also part of the reason Ivan is how he is today, due to the fact he was trained and taught to fight and kill. After Ivan became old enough he went on and continued to build up his nation, which sooner than later became one of the most powerful countries in the world, and began to work his way up the 'popularity ladder'. In time he became well known throughout the world and would often help to supply various things such as diamonds, coal, ect ect. However nowadays he is often frowned upon due to his violent and disruptive community, though he really pays no attention to it- for he believes that one day they will all join his Union anyway.

Appearance:

Ivan wears a light pink coloured scarf, one of which was knitted for him by his sister Ukraine, a pair of tan gloves, boots, green pants and his long beige army coat. Ivan refers to his scarf as a body part, thus resulting in why he refuses to take it off, the same goes for his pipe, however he tends to leave it lying around wherever he pleases as he knows no-one would dare touch it. During the summer, when staying in other countries, he will wear an white open neck shirt ( with his scarf of course, as odd as he may look ) along with shorts and a pair of sandals. However in the winter his outfit doesn't really vary from his usual attire- however instead of his army coat he'll either wear a plain jumper or a thick black coat, perfect for blizzards and hail stone, he also tends to wear a variety of shoes- though most of them tend to be heavy boots and/or old trainers, used mostly when walking through snow and relaxing at home.

Headcannons:

Russia eats a lot of junk food when he's upset, though of course he does it privately.

Russia does not know how to ride a bicycle- mainly because nobody even bothered to teach him how to, but also because he's scared to learn, as stupid as it may sound

Russia isn't always scared of Belarus. When she cries he is always there to comfort her and to reassure her that everything will be alright.

After the fall of Communism, Russia didn't know what to do- when he eventually sucked up the courage to ask America for help, America laughed.

While most people would call Alfred, Al or just Alfred, Russia chooses to call him Fred, purely to be annoying.

Ivan fears being alone and will often go to extreme lengths not to end up that way- If he does happen to be left alone for longer than a few hours he'll start to break down. Hard.

Ivan likes to store food in the inside of his pipe to eat later- He thinks It's a great idea, however some disagree.
